About Monique

I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 1994. I worked in the NHS for 22 years, and as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist for 11 years before I began working as an Independent Practitioner.

I was also responsible for overseeing clinical supervision for Speech and Language Therapists within the Department.

I am a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Association for Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice. I am also registered with the Health Care Professionals Council.

I have worked in a number of settings including community clinics, children’s centres, nurseries, schools and in language units attached to primary schools.

I love my work and have found it extremely rewarding to be able to support speech and language therapy students throughout my career. I won an Annual Mentorship Award in 2004 in recognition of my work in supporting students. I have also been involved in student training as a clinical examiner.

I look forward to hearing from you.
